Risk management committee training
Summary
This is a pilot project that aims to train a group selected from the 102 local risk management committees located in the neighborhoods of Medellín. These committees are responsible for identifying and alerting the communities about the possible natural risks that may occur, so they can take preventative measures to save lives. The main topics are focused on disaster prevention, and the mitigation strategies during an event, requiring community risk management, early-warning social networks, social mapping of risk, and disaster management strategies.
