Low Marginal Delivery Costs

In the international development space, designing solutions can often be a timely, costly, and resource intensive process. Furthermore, once the solution is ready it is often expensive to implement. It requires immense coordination, logistics, staff, and of course, more money. Solutions that can lower delivery costs therefore free up more resources to be used on development, or not at all. For example, when designing a solution that takes the form of an app or game, this secondary cost of implementation (or delivery) is drastically decreased. When design an smart phone app for a popular app store, once the development work is completed and the hosting costs are incurred, each additional download bears little to no cost on the app creator.
