Private Sector Engagement Toolkit
This solution addresses NGOs' inability to identify and manage private sector partnerships. in Global for NGO practitioners
Problem Description
NGOs do not work in a vacuum: they work for solutions in contexts that include both public and private sector actors. Historically considered “part of the problem,” we now recognize the positive and impactful role the private sector can play in poverty alleviation. To partner successfully with the private sector, NGOs need a systemic way to assess, evaluate, and manage private sector relationships. We also need to understand private sector incentives and motivations. And we probably need to hold shorter meetings.Building Blocks
